I had The Merchant on focaccia bread and it was delicious. There was a good mix of meat and vegetables to call it healthy. My desire to consume was greater than my penchant for photo taking. I was craving gelato when I chose Dave’s. Homemade with authentic ingredients and local milk really made all the flavors taste light and creamy and not sweet and heavy like ice cream. Two healthy choices that exceeded expectations. Will have to come back next time I am in town.

Great gelato, non-traditional flavors. We are always in search of a good gelato or establishment. We’ve been to many in Europe, where they are easier to find. Pennsylvania, not so many. Looking on the Internet, we found Dave’s deli and gelato It’s an unassuming casual place nestled in a building like a small mall. Quite close to parking, however and there is plenty of parking. Our generally favor, traditional flavors like pistachio and hazelnut. Times have changed and as you can see from the menu, there is a wide selection of flavors. To be honest, I’m not sure of those flavors being appropriate together, but apparently it works. I tried to Dubai pistachio although not a great fan of chocolate it was good and I did finish the whole thing. The flavors change periodically and so I suggest going to their site and if something tickles your fancy definitely go. The quality is good, I just need the flavors to match my taste.

The ciabatta bread was so soft on inside with a nice thin crust on outside that was very easy to bite thru. It is fresh baked each day. The combination of sandwich ingredients was different and delicious. I had the Moravian beef which was warm London broil roast beef with melted provolone with tomato and fresh spinach and a bacon mayo on ciabatta roll. I enjoyed every bite and unfortunately had to take half home due to the size. Wish I had room for some homemade Gelato. Maybe next time.

Cute little gem to stumble upon . Had the most tasty gelato definitely hit the spot on a warm day.

Friendly service with delicious freshly made sandwiches A great variety of sandwiches to choose from and All sandwiches are very good. They also have gelato and other treats and some sides like pasta salad and potato salad. They offer comfortable Indoor and outdoor seating in a warm and friendly setting . Prices are fair and the sandwiches are filling and delicious with great friendly service. Parking available in their lot with easy access off of rte 512 and 22 and just down the street from Wegmans in Bethlehem. Well worth a visit. Loved it.
